Facing bust of Irene, wearing crown and loros, holding globus cruciger in her right hand and cruciform scepter in her left. Rev. Facing bust of Constantine VI, beardless, wearing crown and chlamys, holding globus cruciger in his right hand and cruciform scepter in his left; in field to right, cross; to left and right, pellet; below bar, large MA flanked by X and N. DOC 7. SB 1598. Patina stripped and with an area of weakness on the obverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
